Mystic Spectrum Code of Ethics
Age requirements: All clients must be at least 18 to participate in my services. Anyone under 18 may only book sessions with parental or guardian permission and supervision.
Equity & Inclusion: I enter each reading with kindness and curiosity. I welcome a diversity of experiences, thoughts, and beliefs, and I read for all folks, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, or religion.
No harassment: Tarot is a brave space. To be brave we must agree to keep each other safe. Demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour and speech, intimidation, stalking, unwanted attention, or incitement of violence or harm is not welcome.
The Wisdom Within: At Mystic Spectrum, I believe you, the seeker, hold the keys to unlocking your answers. My readings empower you to tap into your intuition, guiding you toward decisions that resonate with your most profound truths. A tarot reading does not shape reality nor compel behaviour.
Inspiration, Not Prescription: The Tarot reveals the energies at play and opens up potential paths before you. Ultimately, your choices and actions are your own. I offer guidance but cannot take responsibility for the course you choose.
The Present Unfolds: My approach focuses on the present moment and its possibilities, not predicting a fixed future.
Honouring Your Space: I read only for the person requesting the reading. Questions about the thoughts or feelings of others will be respectfully redirected towards self-exploration.
Trust and Confidentiality: Our sessions are a safe space. Your information is held in the strictest confidence unless there is genuine concern for your safety or I am legally obligated to disclose (this has never occurred in my practice).
Informed Guidance: For health, medical, financial or legal matters, I encourage you to seek advice from qualified professionals regarding health, medical, or legal matters. I will not advise on these topics.
Tarot is not a Mental Health Service: I am not a licensed mental health professional or therapist. My tarot practice is not a substitute for therapy, nor is it a licensed mental health treatment. It is for our amusement and inspiration. It is a creative and spiritual practice, not a mental health healing modality.
The Right Fit: I reserve the right to refuse a reading for any reason and will always provide a full refund in such cases.
